At A Brilliant Life Foundation we believe every child finds success where their gifts and dreams meet the world’s needs. There is nothing more powerful than a child with a strong sense of self and a regard for making the world a better place.

Who we Helped: Parents of middle schoolers

How we Helped: As a part of an educational panel, we helped parents understand the needs of their students and ways they can support their student’s healthy growth and development.

Organization: The Coretta Scott King Women’s Leadership Academy

Who we Helped: Middle school girls, exhibiting risky behavior

How we Helped: We taught them the importance of self-worth and the importance of using their abilities in positive ways for the community.

Organization: 21st Century Leaders

Who we Helped: Georgia’s top 200 11th and 12th grade students

How we Helped: We empowered students with their leadership skills and abilities.

Organization: Police Athletic League

Who we Helped: Under privileged, at-risk children ages 8-15

How we Helped: We helped them understand how important they are to the world, and helped them discover their greatness and a sense of whom they are and what they are alive for in this time in history.

Organization: Girl Talk, an international non-profit girl-to-girl mentoring organization.

Who we Helped: High school and college-aged mentors

How we Helped: We helped them develop a stronger sense of self and build true self-esteem as they prepared to mentor middle school girls.

Organization: The B.E.S.T. Academy for Boys

Who we Helped: Bright, urban at-risk middle school boys

How we Helped: We helped these students hone in on their self-empowerment tools so they can activate a successful game plan for their lives. Students discovered their innate gifts & talents, viable career options, dreams & aspirations, and rolled them into a plan of action for success.

Organization: Inman Middle School, Annual Writer’s Workshop

Who we Helped: All middle grade students

How we Helped: We taught writing workshops to help students discover their innate gifts & talents and dreams & accomplishments.

Organization: Atlanta Youth Academy

Who we Helped: 6th grade bible class

How we Helped: We taught the students how to discover their purpose in life.

Organization: Atlanta Girls’ School

Who we Helped: 7th grade girls

How we Helped: We helped these girls develop a brilliant vision for their life and got them started today making tomorrow’s dreams come true. The students learned to discover their innate gifts & talents, viable career options, dreams & accomplishments, and a game plan for today and up to age 35. They also learned self-empowerment tools.

Organization: Big Brothers Big Sisters

Who we Helped: The 8th and 9th grade Mentoring to College Bigs and Littles participants

How we Helped: We wrote the 2010-2011 curriculum for their Journey To College Program

Organization: The Ron Clark Academy’s after school program

Who we Helped: Middle schoolers

How we Helped: We taught these students self-empowerment and life development courses. Students discovered their innate gifts & talents, viable career options, dreams & aspirations, and a game plan for a successful life.

How we Helped: We taught a program based on the importance of being themselves and contributing to the world in a way that only they can.

How we Helped: We helped the students create a vision of their full potential at age 35. As well as the importance of being all you can be.
